Management accounts

Know how the business is doing before the year-end tells you

Annual accounts describe the past. Management accounts inform what you do next: pricing, hiring, spending, borrowing. We produce them monthly or quarterly and, crucially, we explain them.

What you receive

  • Profit and loss for the period and year to date
  • Balance sheet, reconciled, so the position is real rather than hopeful
  • Cash flow reporting, including a forward view when you need one
  • Budget versus actual, with the variances that matter picked out
  • Prior-year comparisons that show the trend, not just the month
  • A plain-English commentary: what changed, why, and what to watch

The pack is only half the service. The other half is the conversation around it. Clients have told us for years that the advice at the crossroads moments is what they value most, and management reporting is where those conversations start.

Built on records you can trust

Management accounts prepared from unreconciled books are decoration. Ours sit on top of disciplined bookkeeping, so when the report says the debtor book has grown or the margin has slipped, it has, and you can act on it.

For lenders, boards and trustees

Where a bank, investor or board of trustees needs regular reporting, we prepare packs to their requirements and to a standard you will be comfortable presenting, month after month.
